Preparation and Usage

WARNING: Contains flammable gas under pressure. Use with care. Ignite lighter away from face and clothing. Never puncture or put in a fire. Be sure flame is out after use. HOW TO REFILL YOUR SWAN LIGHTER. Refill away from flame or ignition source. Allow any spilt gas to evaporate and disperse before using the lighter. 1. Select appropriate nozzle by checking your lighter against the list on the can and shake can to check it contains fuel. 2. Pull out flint wheel from the top of the lighter. 3. Hold lighter upside down in hand and hold can upside down over lighter, i.e. nozzle down. 4. Push nozzle firmly into lighter filling valve, as far as it will go. Hold it steady for several seconds. Escaping liquid indicates that the lighter is full. 5. Replace flint holder, making sure the ridge on the barrel fits the groove of the lighter. Wait 30 seconds before striking lighter. HOW TO REFLINT YOUR SWAN LIGHTER. 1. Pull out flint wheel from top of lighter. 2. Remove spring by unscrewing grey cap. 3. Place new flint in barrel, holding it in a downward position. 4. Replace spring by pushing in and screwing on grey cap. 5. Replace flint holder, making sure the ridge on the barrel fits the groove on the lighter.

KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. Never expose to heat above 50°C or to prolonged sunlight.
