Onion Bhajia Recipe Ingredients 2 level cups of PaPa Gram Flour; 1 teaspoon cumin seeds; 1 teaspoon coriander seeds, crushed; 1 teaspoon salt; 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder; 1/4 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate; 2 medium onions, finely chopped; 1/4 pint water Method Mix all the ingredients in a bowl with the water to make a thick batter. Set aside for 5 minutes. Take a heaped tablespoon of mixture and drop carefully into hot oil in a deep pan or fryer. Cook for approx. 3 minutes until Bhajias become crisp and golden. Drain thoroughly on kitchen paper and serve immediately as a starter or meal accompaniment. Perfect for making sweets, savouries and soups.
