First developed near the village of Leerdam, its namesake, Leerdammer® is made following a traditional method, which gives it its unique mellow flavour and smooth, semi-hard texture.
For your convenience, our Leerdammer® cheese comes ready sliced, making it perfect for sandwiches or as a tasty snack, straight from the fridge.
Leerdammer® is a real cheese, so it's nutritious as well as delicious. It's a natural source of calcium and protein, with around 24% of your daily calcium needs in one slice (daily reference intake for adults).
Finally, every single slice of Leerdammer® cheese is made from the milk of free-grazing cows.
