Cadbury Bournville is our original bar, made from smooth dark chocolate and first launched over 100 years ago in 1908. Darker than our other classic, Dairy Milk, it contains 39% cocoa solids for a beautifully bittersweet flavour and an intensely chocolatey experience. Full of Cadbury's rich heritage, Bournville is named after our spiritual home in Birmingham - the site of the original Cadbury factory and current location of the fun-packed Cadbury World. This handy 45g bar is suitable for vegetarians and, like our original Bournville Cocoa Powder, contains no artificial colours. This delicious bar of dark chocolate is perfect for a coffee-break snack, but why not try using Bournville in your baking alongside our classic cocoa? For a fruity chocolate and banana brownie, try melting the chocolate with butter and sugar before adding cocoa, baking powder, eggs and bananas. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, leave to cool, cut and enjoy.
