Preparation and Usage
Ensure food is piping hot. No need to wash before cooking. Cook from electric oven, gas oven or fan oven from chilled 180°C, Fan 160°C, Gas 4 Preheat oven remove from outer packaging. Do not remove the drip pad or foil tray. Place crown in its foil tray into a roasting tin, rub the skin of crown with oil or butter (optional) and cover loosely with foil. Place roasting tin in the centre of the oven. Cook for 20 minutes per kilo plus 95 minutes. After 1 hour remove foil, return to the oven, and continue cooking. Baste turkey crown occasionally during cooking process (typically 2-4 times depending on the size). After cooking time, cover with kitchen foil and allow to rest in a warm place for 30 minutes before carving. Always check that the product is cooked throughout, and juices run clear with no pink colour remaining. This is a guide only. Appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Do not reheat. Food safety After disposal of packaging, always wash works surfaces, equipment and hands before and after preparing food. To check crown is cooked thoroughly, pierce thickest part of the turkey with a skewer. If the juices are pink, continue cooking for a further 15 minutes and retest. Repeat until juices run clear. Much of the fat in this product is in the skin. To reduce the fat and kcal content, remove the skin before eating.
Storage
Keep in fridge 2 to 5°C Home freezing Freeze as soon as possible and always within the use by date. Use within 3 months. Defrost thoroughly in a fridge before cooking and use immediately. Keep on the bottom shelf of the fridge, cook and eat within 24 hours of opening. Don't exceed the use by date.

Recipes
Thai green turkey and potato curry 500g Turkey cut into small pieces 3/4 Can coconut milk 1 Tsp grated lime zest 1 Red pepper, seeded and cut into pieces 4 Roast potatoes cut into pieces 1 Tbsp Thai green curry paste Vegetable oil for frying. 1. Warm a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil, then add the Thai green curry paste. 2. Stir-fry for around one minute then add the coconut milk and reduce by one third. 3. Add the turkey, stirring to incorporate. When the curry sauce comes to a boil, reduce heat to medium or medium-low, until you get a nice simmer. 4. Add the red pepper and potatoes, plus lime zest. 5. Simmer for a further 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables start to soften. 6. Serve with Jasmine rice and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
