Warre's Quinta da Cavadinha 75cl
With a south-eastern aspect, its steep terraces cascading from 440 metres altitude to the very edge of the picturesque Pinhão river at only 180 metres, Cavandinha is positioned in one of the most favourable situations in the demarcated Douro region. Forming an important part of Warre's declared Vintage years, in the other good years a small quantity of the wine is set aside for bottling after two years in cask. This fruity and deep-coloured wine is now ready to broach but retains a significant maturing potential. Only limited quantities of this Port are available for all world markets

Further Description
Deep, intense garnet colour. On the nose, full brambly fruit and liquorice notes are wrapped in lovely bottle age complexity and floral aromas. The wine is beautifully structured with full, ripe black fruit flavours underpinned by good acidity and finishing with lingering, peppery tannins. Ready to drink now, although the firm structure holds the promise of further ageing potential.
