Preparation and Usage
Preparation For proper Italian pasta (and why would you want anything else?), add pasta to a large pan of slightly salted boiling water and cook for 12 mins until al dente. If you like your pasta a little softer, cook for 14 mins. Drain, smother in sauce and enjoy.

Spaghetti al Sugo di Pomodoro Spaghetti in a game-changing roasted tomato sauce Prep 15 mins Cook 30 mins Serves 4 people 800g Mixed cherry & small tomatoes 2 Tbsps Napolina olive oil 2 Garlic cloves Fresh herbs (we like basil, oregano & thyme) Salt & black pepper Balsamic vinegar 400g Napolina whole wheat spaghetti Basil & parmesan, to serve Pre-heat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas mark 6 1 Halve the tomatoes and place them in a roasting tin with the whole garlic cloves and herbs. Drizzle with the olive oil and mix well to coat the ingredients. 2 Roast for 30 minutes (or until the tomatoes are soft and just beginning to char). 3 While the tomatoes are roasting, cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. 4 Using a fork, squash the garlic cloves and discard the skins. Mash the pulp into the tomatoes, discarding the tomato skins. Keep some halved tomatoes to one side of the roasting tin for a chunkier sauce. 5 Season with salt, freshly ground pepper and a splash of balsamic vinegar. 6 Drain the spaghetti and stir into the sauce. 7 Scatter with fresh basil leaves and (plenty of) Parmesan shavings.
