Recipe Cheesy spirali pasta with sun-dried tomatoes & leeks Serves 2 Ingredients 250g Spirali pasta 2 Leeks finely sliced 50g Butter 50g Plain flour 600ml Semi-skimmed milk 125g Cheddar cheese 50g Sun-dried tomatoes, drained and chopped Method 1. Cook the pasta according to pack instructions and drain. 2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan and fry leeks for 5 mins until leeks are soft. 3. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour and cook for 1 minute. 4. Gradually stir in the milk, bring to the boil stirring continually until the sauce thickens. Add the grated cheddar cheese and season to taste. 5. Stir the pasta into the cheese sauce, add the sun-dried tomatoes and leeks and mix well. 6. Transfer to a heat-proof dish and grill until golden and bubbling.
