Preparation and Usage

Penne Cooking Instructions: 1. Allow 75g of pasta per person. 2. Add the pasta to a large saucepan of boiling, salted water. Stir and return to the boil. 3. For al dente, reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes and up to 11 minutes for more tender pasta. 4. Drain well and serve immediately.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Once open, store in an airtight container.

Roma Penne Pasta with Tomato, Cream and Basil Serves 5 Ingredients: - 400g Roma Penne - 1 onion, finely chopped - 2 tbsp olive oil - 2 garlic cloves, crushed - 2x400g tins Roma Chopped Tomatoes - 150ml double cream - Fresh basil, chopped Method: 1. Cook the onion in 2 tbsp olive oil until soft. Add the garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes. Tip in the tomatoes, and simmer for 20 minutes until reduced and thickened. Stir in the cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then stir in the basil. 2. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the pack, drain and toss with the sauce.
