Preparation and Usage

Cooking instructions: 200°C / fan 180°C / oven gas mark 6 22-24 mins. Pre-heat oven to required temperature shown above. Remove sleeve and film lid. Place tray on the middle shelf of oven for approx. 22-24 minutes, for a golden crisp top. For a more moist stuffing, cover with foil and pierce. All appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked and piping hot throughout before serving. Do not re-heat. Not suitable for microwave cooking.

Storage

Keep refrigerated. Suitable for home freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase, but always by 'use by' date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 4 hours in the refrigerator. Follow the cooking guidelines. Once defrosted, do not refreeze. Note: This product may have been frozen & returned to chilled temperature under controlled conditions. Further freezing will not affect quality.

Why Not Try? Classic Roast Free Range Chicken Serves 4-6 Ingredients: - 1 Pack of The Stuffing Company Cranberry, Apricot & Orange Stuffing - 1 Free range chicken 1-1.2kg - 25g Butter - ½ Lemon, juice only - Salt and freshly ground black pepper Cooking time: Oven: 75-95 mins. 220°C / Fan 200°C / Gas mark 7 Method: Lightly season the chicken then fill the cavity with the stuffing. Rub the butter over the chicken, then sprinkle the lemon juice on top. Roast for 15 minutes, then turn the heat down to 180°C/160°C Fan/Gas Mark 4 and roast for a further 60-80 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear when it is pierced through the thickest part with a skewer. Remove from the tin, cover with foil and set aside to rest. Serve with your favourite sides & gravy.
