Recipes

Spaghetti bolognese Serves 4 Ingredients 1 Onion, finely chopped 2 Cloves garlic, crushed 500g Minced beef 125g Mushrooms, sliced 200ml Red wine 400g Can of chopped tomatoes and herbs 100ml Beef stock 2 tbsp Tomato puree 400g Spaghetti Parmesan cheese, grated Method 1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large pan and gently fry the onions and garlic for 5 minutes. 2. Add the mince and cook until brown, approximately 5 minutes. 3. Add the mushrooms, red wine, chopped tomatoes, stock, and tomato puree. Bring to the boil. 4. Season to taste, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. 5. Cook the pasta as per pack instructions and drain. 6. Serve spaghetti with bolognese sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
