Alternative Cooking Instructions: Gordon says, "Don not worry if you don't have a slow cooker. Preheat your oven to 150°C/gas mark 3. Simply follow tha same preparation instructions, place in an oven proof casserole dish, cover and cook for 2 to 3 hours or until the meat and vegetables are tender and cooked throught". Slow & Steamy Tagine Gourmet Sauce Mix Shopping List: 1 kg Lamb, diced 2 Large Onions, chopped 1 Tin Tomatoes (400g) 400ml Water 150g Prunes or Apricots, chopped Gordon Recommends: Adding a teaspoon of honey and garnishing with almonds or fresh coriander before serving with couscous. Slow Cooking Instructions 1. Place the lamb, onions and tomatoes into your slow cooker pot. 2. Blend the Lamb Tagine Mix with the water (400ml) and add to the slow cooker pot. Stir thoroughly. 3. Cover and cook for 4 hours on High or 8 hours on Medium or until the meat is tender and cooked through (keep covered during cooking. Cooking times may vary between slow cooker models). 4. Remove the lid, add the prunes or apricots, stir through and stand for 5 mins before serving.
