Preparation and Usage
I'm great for... roasting, wrapping and freezing! Wrap lightly around food to allow hot air to circulate freely... Open the foil wrapping for the last 20 minutes to allow for that perfect browning touch! When freezing, wrap food tightly inside me to keep air out and prevent freezer burns. A tip from our cooks in the kitchen... Keep the turkey moist and add flavour by spreading butter mixed with fresh sage & thyme under the skin. Cooking Guide Preheated oven 180°C, 350°F or Gas mark 4 Allow 45 minutes per kg plus 20 minutes for a turkey that weighs under 4.5kg Allow 40 minutes per kg for a turkey that's between 4.5kg and 6.5kg Allow 35 minutes per kg for a turkey weighing more than 6.5kg The cooking times above are based on an unstuffed bird. Some ovens, such as fan-assisted ovens, might cook the bird more quickly. Check the guidance on the packaging and the manufacturer's handbook for your oven.
