Serves 4 1 sachet Chilli Con Carne Mix 450g (1lb) minced meat (pork or beef) 2 medium sized onions - chopped 150ml (1/4 pint) cold water 400g can chopped tomatoes 255g can kidney beans, drained How to Cook Appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Brown the minced meat and onion in a saucepan and drain off excess fat. Blend the contents of the sachet with the water and pour into the saucepan mixing well. Add the can of tomatoes and can of drained kidney beans. Bring to the boil, stirring frequently. Cover and simmer on a gentle heat for 30 minutes or until thoroughly cooked, stirring occasionally.
