Preparation and Usage

Instructions 1. Remove the midstream test from the foil pouch. 2. Remove the protective over cap to expose the absorbent tip and place the cap over the thumb grip. 3. Hold the midstream test by the capped thumb grip with the exposed absorbent tip pointing downward, directly into your urine stream for at least 10 seconds until it is thoroughly moist. You can also use a clean dry container to urinate into and dip the midstream test for at least 10 seconds. Note: The early part of the urine flow will give a stronger reading. Do not urinate on the test window. 4. After removing the midstream test from your urine, immediately replace the cap. Lay the midstream test on a flat surface with the window facing upwards and begin timing. 5. Read the result after 3 minutes, if no coloured line appears, wait one minute longer. Some positive results may be observed in 1 minute depending upon the concentration of hCG. To increase the chance of a healthy pregnancy for you and your baby should consider the following: - Maintain a well balanced diet - Stop smoking - Avoid alcohol consumption The first 3 months of pregnancy is the most important time and you should consult your midwife or doctor for advice concerning your pregnancy. Keep out of reach of children. Please seek medical advice before acting upon this test result. Reading the Result (Do not read the test after 10 minutes) Pregnant: Two distinct lines will appear in both the control and test window, these may vary slightly in colour, they do not have to match. This means there is a strong possibility that you are pregnant. Not Pregnant: One distinct colored line appears in the control window, no line appears in the test window. This means there is a strong possibility that you are not pregnant. Invalid: The test is invalid if no coloured line appears in the control window, even if a line appears in the test window. Only two lines signify a pregnancy. If the test is invalid you should repeat with a new midstream test. Although the test is highly accurate a low incidence of false results can occur.
