Indian Felafel Serves 2 Ingredients 500g Natco Chick Peas, soaked overnight; 2 cloves garlic; 1/2 tsp baking powder; 1 onion, chopped; 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped; 2 tsp Natco Ground Cumin; 2 tsp Natco Ground Coriander; 1 tsp Natco Chilli Powder; 2 tsp salt; 100g Natco Sesame Seeds; 500g butter ghee. Method Drain chick peas, add 2 cups of fresh water and then grind in a blender to a thick paste. Place in a bowl with rest of the ingredients and mix well. With wet hands, shape into small round balls and roll in sesame seeds. In a deep fat fryer, heat ghee and fry balls until golden brown. Drain on kitchen roll. Serve as a starter with yogurt raita or with sliced tomato and salad inside pitta bread.
