Recipes

Pasanda Recipe (Sliced Meat with Yoghurt & Spices) Meat (preferably Mutton or Beef - otherwise Chicken) 1 kg (thin fillets). Onion (medium sized) 4 (250 gms) finely sliced Yoghurt (whipped / beaten) 1 1/2 cup (250 gms) Chee / Cooking Oil 1 cup (150 gms) Laziza Pasanda Masala one bag only Easy Steps 1. Fry sliced onions in ghee/oil till become golden. Remove from oil/ghee and keep on an absorbent paper. When cool/crisp crush it coarsely and keep it (avoid very fine grinding like paste). 2. Mix together Laziza Pasanda Masala (one bag), yoghurt, crushed fried onions & apply on meat & leave it for 1-2 hours. 3. Put pasanda/fillets, along with the masala in hot ghee/oil & cook on low flame till the meat is completely tender & ghee/oil separates from masala (if need arises add 1-2 cups of water). Note: For better results: 1. In case of hard meat like beef or hard mutton meat add 2-3 tablespoons of grounded raw papaya at step No. 2. 2. When ready, garnish pasanda with one finely sliced onion rings & chopped mint leaves for real good taste. 3. One cup of crushed fried onion is equal to 250 gms of fresh sliced onion.
