Recipes

Cassava Bread Serves 2-4 Ingredients: 1 cup Tropical Sun Farina Flour; 1/3 cup Tropical Sun Cassava Flour; 2 tsp Tropical Sun Baking Powder; 1 tbsp Tropical Sun Vegetable Oil; 1 egg; 2 tbsp Tropical Sun Creamed Coconut or to taste; 1 1/4 cups of water. Preparation: Pre-heat your oven to 200°C. Thoroughly mix the farina with the Tropical Sun Cassava Flour in a bowl, and then add the baking powder. Add the egg and mix until fully combined with the flour mixture. Grate the creamed coconut and add to taste. Slowly add the water. Don't add all the water at once. Adding it slowly will ensure you achieve a sturdy dough-like mixture which has a little elasticity. Place your dough into a greaseproof baking tray and bake in the pre-heated oven for approximately 35-40 minutes. Remove from oven, allow to cool and enjoy!
