Fried Fish© Pakistani Style Fried Fish Ingredients Required / Quantity & Preparation Fish 1-1 1/2 kg sliced/whole Garlic paste 1 1/2 tablespoons Ghee/Oil 3 cups/500g for frying Shan Fish One packet (use Seasoning Mix less for mild hot) Steps of Cooking 1. Mix garlic and Shan Fish Seasoning Mix and apply on the fish. Marinate for 30 minutes. 2. Then fry the fish in hot oil until light brown. Serving Suggestion. Garnish with Shan Chaat Masala and lime juice. Tips for best result. For variation use 3-4 tablespoons Tamarind in the above ingredients. Serves 6-8 persons. Bengal Style Fish/ Prawn Curry© Fish/Prawns 1 1/2 kg slices/cubes Yogurt, Plain 1 cup whipped/200g Garlic Paste 1 tablespoon/ 25g Onion 1/2 medium sliced Curry Leaves 15-25 leaves, whole Ghee/Oil 1 cup/175g Shan Fish One packet Seasoning Mix (use less for mild hot) Steps of Cooking 1. Fry onion in hot oil until golden. And curry leaves, garlic, yogurt and Shan Fish Seasoning Mix. Fry for few minutes. 2. Add fish and fry for 10 minutes. Stir well. Add 3-4 cups of water and cook on low heat until the fish is tender. Serve with boiled rice.
