Emmental & Onion Pasta Bake Serves 4 Ingredients 1 tbsp oil, for cooking 4 white onions, finely chopped 50 ml white wine 100 ml water 400g dried pasta 400g Béchamel sauce 400g Président grated Emmental Dried mixed herbs and black pepper Preheat the oven to 200°C. Heat a frying pan with 1tbsp oil on high heat and cook the onions until they become golden. Add the wine and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Reduce the heat and add water. Season with dried mixed herbs and black pepper. Let it cook for another 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a large saucepan of salted boiling water according to the pack instructions. Drain the pasta and transfer to the other pan with the onions. Add the Béchamel sauce and mix well to coat the pasta with the sauce. Transfer the pasta to a deep baking dish and top with Président grated Emmental. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and golden. Remove from the oven and leave to cool before serving. Bon appétit!
