Serves 4 1 sachet Sausage Casserole Sauce Mix 1 tbsp cooking oil 450g (1lb) sausages (meat or vegetarian) 2 medium onions - sliced 115g (4oz) mushrooms, sliced 300ml (1/2 pint) cold water How to cook All cooking appliances vary, the following instructions are guidelines only. Pre-heat your oven to 180°C / 350°F / Mark 4. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the sausages until brown, add the onion and cook for a further 3-4 minutes until softened. Transfer to an ovenproof casserole dish with the mushrooms. Blend the contents of the sachet with the water and stir into the dish. Cove and cook for 1 hour. Ensure casserole is piping hot throughout and sausages fully cooked through before serving.
