Fairtrade Premium has helped to improve the health and wellbeing of the workers by providing 295 health screens and subsidised nutritious meals to 500 people. 253 school children have also benefited from new computers and a further 100 school children have had their classroom repaired giving access to modern equipment and facilities that wouldn't have been possible before. Healthy Eating A healthy diet contains lots of fruit and vegetables is based on starchy foods such as wholegrain bread, pasta and rice and is low in fat (especially saturated fat), salt and sugar. Adults should eat at least 5 portions of different fruit and vegetables each day. Fresh, frozen, dried, canned and concentrated fruit and vegetables, all count towards this.
