Chocolate Brownies Makes: 12 - 15 slices 125g dark chocolate 250g butter 325g golden caster sugar 4 medium eggs - beaten 100g McDougalls Plain Flour 50g cocoa powder 50g pistachio nuts - roughly chopped Icing sugar for dusting Preheat fan oven to 160°C, conventional 180°C, Gas Mark 4. Grease and line the base of a tin (28x 18x 3cm). Put the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl and place over a pan of boiling water, until the chocolate has melted. Pour the chocolate mixture into a large bowl and add the sugar. Add eggs gradually, beating well. Sift together the flour and cocoa powder then add to the chocolate mixture. Stir in the nuts and pour into the prepared tin. Bake in the centre of the oven for 40 minutes. Leave to cool, cut into squares and dust with icing sugar.
