You will need... 2 medium sized eggs Water 50gms of butter Prep' time 10 Bake time 16 Get ready to enjoy! To prepare the cake mix 1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C (170°C for a fan oven) Gas Mark 6. Grease sides and base of 2 x 18cm (7") sandwich tins and line with baking paper. 2. Whisk cake mix, 2 eggs, 50gms of softened butter & 100mls (6 tablespoons) of water on low speed for 30 seconds. Then 2 minutes at high speed until thick and creamy or beat for 3 minutes with a wood spoon or whisk. Pour the mix equally between the 2 sandwich tins. 3. Bake for 15-16 minutes in the centre of oven until cake has risen and is golden brown and firm to touch. Remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack. Add filling of your choice. Why not try?
