Preparation and Usage

To make chili con carne or chili burritos, just add... Chilli: 400g minced beef, 1 finely chopped white onion, suggested accompaniments: cooked rice, crusty bread or baked potatoes. Burrito: 400g minced beef, 1 finely chopped white onion, 8 flour tortillas, 1 shredded lettuce, 2 tomatoes chopped in small dices, 150g grated cheese. 1. In a frying pan, sweat the onion in a little oil over a medium heat for 4 minutes. Add the mince and pan-fry for 4 minutes over a medium-high heat. Pour the cooking sauce over and simmer for 10 minutes over a low-medium heat stirring occasionally. 2. To make chili con carne: Serve with rice, crusty bread, baked potatoes or tossed green salad. To make chilli burritos: Heat tortillas according to instructions on pack, spoon the mix into the center of a tortilla, top with lettuce, tomatoes, salsa and grated cheese.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate and use within a week. Best before end: see base of jar.
