Recipes
You will need: - 80g Butter - 235ml Cold Milk (reconstituted milk is not recommended) 20 Prep' time 45 Chill time Get ready to enjoy! To prepare the cheesecake base 1. First, prepare your 18cm (7") tin: Line a loose bottomed tin with baking paper, or line a regular tin with foil. 2. Melt 80g butter in a saucepan and stir in the crumb base. 3. Spread the mixture over the base of the prepared tin and press down with the back of a spoon. 4. Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes until firm. To prepare the topping 1. Whisk the cheesecake mix into 235ml of milk with an electric mixer for 3-5 minutes until thick and creamy. This will take longer if using a hand whisk. 2. Spread the cheesecake topping over the crumb base and smooth with the back of a spoon. 3. Chill in the fridge for 45 minutes to allow to set. Remove from tin to serve. Top tip Why not add some freshly chopped strawberries or a couple of tablespoons of cocoa powder for a chocolate cheesecake?
