Add the onion to the boiling water, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. 3. Drain well and use as required. One whole pack makes the equivalent of one large onion. Suggested uses: Great Scot Dried Onions are so versatile and delicious in many dishes. Why not try adding to casseroles, stews, soups, risottos and sauces. Alternatively, rehydrate according to the on pack instructions and use in pies, savoury rice or as a topping to hot dogs.
