Recipes

You will need: 450g (1lb) stewing steak, diced. 1 onion, chopped 225g (8oz) small carrots, chopped 2 small leeks, chopped 225g (8oz) turnip, diced Pinch of dried thyme How to prepare: 1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas mark 4. Brown the stewing steak and onion in a little oil on the hob. Transfer to casserole dish. Add the remaining ingredients. 2. Blend the Erin Meal Time Irish Country Stew Mix with 425ml (3/4 pint) of cold water and a pinch of dried thyme. Pour over the meat mixture. Cover and cook in the oven for 1 1/2 hours until meat is tender.
